VPN Connections
The Internet enables affordable transfer of information, and the challenge associated with it is guaranteeing comprehensive security, which is an essential aspect. Effective utilisation of VPN connections drastically reduces the costs of communicating between locations as they can be used to transfer various types of traffic, such as data, voice and image.
VPN connections are universal and support all communication protocols that are vital if we are to function as a part of a private network. There are already alternative solutions available for individual, narrower purposes (i.e. email synchronisation), but practically none of them measure up to an efficient VPN system in terms of the universality of its application (access to all internal applications and files, having an overview of the connection status, the possibility to upgrade to IP telephony or other methods of communication between closed groups tied to the local infrastructure).
Connections can be established using public networks (the Internet, MPLS, 3G/APN, UMTS) and suitably protected using advanced encryption procedures and standards. Using advanced technologies and modern encryption procedures allows us to reach a level of security nearly identical to that of classic connections, only with much faster data transfer rates, much better supervision and the possibility to ensure redundancy in the event of a connection drop.
Having central management for the entire system improves security, allows non-stop access to information within the company and requires less human resources.
